Rogers PAC

Hello Rogers families!

December already! I had hoped to introduce myself back in October, but life has a way of derailing plans.

My name is Angie Hentze, and I’m one of nine school trustees; we are the elected public servants that make up the board of education in SD61. I have the privilege of liaising with the Reynolds “family” of schools, of which Rogers is one.

This is my first term as trustee, and really enjoying getting to know the families, staff, teachers and administration at our schools. And of course, our amazing students! My children are in grades one and four at Strawberry Vale Elementary, so it’s been especially interesting for me to see what’s going on in other schools around the district. My background includes biology field and lab work, as well as teaching High School Science.

I will be attending as many winter concerts as I can this month…if you see me, come and say hi! Let me know what’s important to you, what’s working in your children’s education, and what needs improvement. I’m here to represent you to the best of my abilities.

If you have any questions about me, about the school board, or anything else, please feel free to email, phone or text me. I look forward to connecting with you in the future.

All the best for a safe and happy holiday season,

Angie Hentze
