Social Emotional Wellness
People are paying more attention to the importance of social emotional learning (SEL) and realizing that these skills matter. The goal of teaching social and emotional skills is to build students’ mental health and resilience—so as they grow, they can adapt and handle life’s challenges. Greater Victoria School District Seeks Input on Building Inclusive Learning Environments
The School District strongly believes diversity is a strength and strives to create the most inclusive learning environments, where each student has an opportunity to reach their greatest potential.
We understand the important role students, staff, parents and guardians have in developing a sense of belonging for everyone in their school.
The School District values your voice and invites parents, guardians, staff and students to share their thoughts, experiences and perspectives on inclusion and diversity by participating in a five-minute survey.
